In the luxurious ballroom of Le Palais des Congres in Gatineau, just a skip and hop across the Portage Bridge, sits quietly tucked away a monster beast of a ballroom. The venue is perfect for serious dancers to perform on stage their respective solos, duets, large and small group dances.
The competition ended Sunday night at 9 p.m. Following a 2-hour Ultimate Battle Dance Off. The judges pick two of their favorite dances from each studio, one dance under 12 years old and one dance over 13. The performances are completely outstanding, the talent of theses girls exceeds all expectations. People were fighting for the best seats and waiting in-line one hour before the Ballroom doors opened at 7p.m.
“900 dance entries were judged this weekend and all the scores, voiceover corrections will be delivered to your dance studio by Monday,” said Mitchell Jackson creator of On The Floor dance competition. “We are celebrating our 13-year anniversary this year, that’s why the cover of the program is titled The Power of 13.” OTF doesn’t display the any of the judges results online.
