It was in 2005 that Juliane Denomme fell in love with the art of teaching dance. She danced competitively around the region in provincial and national competitions. Juliane had a natural desire to want to teach and share her passion of dance with others.
She enjoys teaching because she feels it is a positive outlet for kids where they can express themselves in diverse ways.
“I started teaching dance here when I was sixteen and never looked back,” said Denomme, professional dance teacher and choreographer at Ecole Danse Louise dance studio.
“Kids can’t always communicate everything they feel at a young age, but dance allows them to feel and act in a different form which can be very fulfilling for some children,” said Denomme. “I love to contribute to building their positive self-esteem.”

“Juliane is my biggest inspiration, “said Kayla Macpherson, Denomme’s tap student at Ecole Dance Louise dance studio. “I love her so much. She is an amazing person, and you can tell she loves what she does. I can’t imagine life at the studio without her. She has always believed in me, and I appreciate her so much.”
Denomme encouraged Macpherson to compete in her age category at 11 and to competed in the 12-year-old age category. She placed 1st in the 11-year-old category and placed 1st, 3rd and 4th in the 12-year-old category.
Macpherson performed at the Great Hall in Toronto with other youth tappers from around Canada and other professional tappers such as: Dewitt Fleming Jr., David Cox, David Lafleur, Star Dixon and more.
“Juliane’s dedication to the studio and her students is unparalleled,” said Reyna Goudreau, dance mom. “She strives to challenge and develop the dancers, she also understands the importance of making dance fun, and letting dancers maintain and express their individuality, she is one of the hardest working people I know.”
Denomme is passionate about dance and being part of the faculty team of Ecole Danse Louise. She is a full-time dance teacher, teaching at the EDL Orleans and Stitsville location. She teaches ballet, jazz and tap from age 4 to 18. She has a close-knit connection with Ecole Dance Louise dance studio owner and contributes to all administration tasks as well as hours on costume design for the youth competitive dance solos and group dances.
Denomme has developed tap talent and has become an expert in her field. Aside from working on her skills on her own time and in the dance studio, Juliane is certified with the Association of Dance Art for Professional Teachers (ADAPT), She has obtained the highest level with the association in the tap discipline.
Delorme is sensitive to sounds and has developed the ability to sound out beats and rhythms outside of tapping and loves it.
In the world of the performing arts, tap dancing is referred to as a form of language. Tap dancing is her specialty and niche talent, but Denomme is also certified in ballet with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) and in Jazz with ADAPT. Her latest certification was obtained in 2020 in Acrobatics Arts.
Denomme inspires to own her own dance studio one day and continue her studies at the University of Ottawa in Linguistics.
